The Pacific Design Thinking Group teaches, trains, facilitates and consults in Design Thinking. The team met while obtaining their Master's degree, studying in a program that focused on leadership and innovation using Design Thinking as an anchor. Although the team has their own coaching and consulting businesses, they formed Pacific Design Thinking Group to work together and promote Design Thinking. Their passion for the 'methodology' was driven by the effectiveness of its outcomes. Also termed Human Centered Design, Design Thinking helps uncover the true problem or need, and then helps design an innovative solution to address the problem or need. The team has years of training and experience working in the Design Thinking space, with clients ranging from large corporations to small non-profit organizations.
Meet the team:
Brad Mahaney has been training groups and consulting within organizations in Design Thinking for several years. He has two years of Design Thinking training, and established an innovation lab that utilized Design Thinking at his previous employer. He has extensive experience in both the non-profit and corporate sectors, including over 25 years of experience working in the Investment Management and Financial Services Industry within a Global S&P 500 Investment Management Company. He has managed global project teams, coached executives and has been a senior leader. Brad holds several certifications and is the Founder and Principal of Developath.

Candice Morgan found the outlets for her talents in design and coaching. After her decade plus in corporate finance, she is leveraging her affinity for humans to help bring clarity and progress to individuals and organizations. She is a sometimes coach and full-time business manager for a software development company. Candice is the founder of Anchored Coaching and has a certification in Design Thinking from IDEO.

Janet Mahrle is a certified coach, instructor, facilitator, and consultant. She works with individuals and teams, specializing in leadership development, team dynamics, organizational learning and effectiveness, innovation, and change.
Besides being a trained designer as a core competency for our Masters in Organization Learning and Effectiveness, she holds an IDEO certificate in Advanced Design Thinking. Her consulting includes using design thinking with teams in order to help them solve complex problems. Janet is the owner of Mahrle Coaching Services.
